The South Australian Seafood Industry Food Plan is designed to fit with the State's Food Plan.
The growth of the Seafood Industry is critical not just to add value to the State's economy, but is critical in order to sustain and grow our regional economies. The ability to grow the industry not only through increased production, but through a strong value added approach to South Australia's world class seafood is critical to the future sustainability of the wildcatch and aquaculture industries.
The South Australian Seafood Industry has identified five key Objectives:

The South Australian Food Centre is a collaborative partnership between industry and government and has been established to grow a thriving and sustainable South Australian food industry through activities of the SA Food Strategy 2010-2015.
