Next year's Fine Food Perth couldn't come sooner for Pendleton Estate.
Pencil 22 to 24 March 2009 in your diaries for the Fine Food Perth tradeshow.
The extra virgin olive oil and fine food purveyors, based in South Australia's Limestone Coast region, is a regular fixture on the Flavour SA trade show circuit - and says the effort is well worth it.
"The Interstate Market Development Program and Fine Food trade shows have helped our business enormously," Pendleton Estate Brand Manager Amanda Hunt said.
"It's given us opportunities to showcase our product to a wide range of buyers we normally wouldn't have access to in a short space of time. It's opened up doors for us that would have taken a lot more time and money to open up if we hadn't been involved in the trade shows."
Amanda said the fact that Pendleton Estate was less than three years old and already a national player in the olive oil market place was testament to the program's success. Fine Food Perth is the largest food industry event in Western Australia. It will feature more than 180 exhibitors and showcase the best of food and wine ideas.
Catherine Barnett, Executive Officer of Flavour SA, said Perth was an emerging market, and Fine Food Perth represented an ideal opportunity for SA businesses to increase awareness and sales in the WA market. Flavour SA has been charged with delivering the Interstate Market Development program, including Fine Food Tradeshows, as part of the PIRSA Market Development program under the South Australian Food Plan 2007-2010.
