Consumers are the key, according to the newly released South Australian Food Strategy 2010-2015 which focuses on consumer demand to drive production. As a result, 'Consume' is this year's theme for the refreshed Premier's Food Industry Awards to be launched in April 2010.
This Autumn our Face of food is the latest Food Industry Hall of Fame inductee, Michael Angelakis. We find out about his ever expanding seafood empire and vision for the State’s food industry. We also meet the diverse group of micro brewers popping up around the State plus other businesses including Australian Caper Company, Slape & Sons, Spring Gully Foods and Swanport Harvest.
