Against the odds created by the drought, AgriExchange is going from strength to strength.
It’s been a tough couple of years for the horticulture industry.
One of the hardest-hit regions is the Riverland - one of South Australia’s most drought-affected and water-reliant regional communities.
However, from challenge often comes renewed determination and an opportunity to ‘think outside the square’ to move onwards and upwards.
Facing the most severe water restrictions in history, Renmark’s AgriExchange – one of the largest producers and packers of citrus and table gapes in Australia - has taken a very pro-active stance in supporting its staff, customers and the wider community overcome the challenges created by the drought.

AgriExchange's efforts were recognised at The Tenth Annual South Australian Premier’s Food Awards, when the company was awarded the Workforce Development Award.

With more than 300 staff and 700 casuals in the peak packing season, AgriExchange invests a substantial amount of expertise, time and resources to training and development. This ensures all staff have maximum access to tailored training programs – which in turn adds value to their professional and personal well being.
