The sector strategic plans collectively contribute to the targets defined in the South Australian Food Plan, which delivers the Food Industry component that contributes to the achievements of the South Australian Strategic Plan.

They reflect a cooperative planning approach between government and industry and describe the strategies that industry sectors have identified to enable them to grow the sector, addressing the challenges and opportunities in order to achieve their desired outcome at a defined time in the future.
