Agrifood Workforce Action Plan released
The Agrifood and Wine Industry Workforce Action Plan focuses on five key areas:
- Better workforce planning and development and promotion of best practices.
- Innovative attraction and retention strategies.
- Improved access to education, training and skills development opportunities.
- Better government, industry and regional coordination to deliver on skill needs.
- Strengthened links between industry and research organisations to improve the uptake of research findings.
The Plan seeks to secure the skilled, efficient and diverse workforce it requires to meet the changing needs of the industries.
