In South Australia, Innovate SA is a partnership between industry, government and universities and can help you review the capacity of your business for innovation - innovation in new products and services, in improved processes and business practices, and in developing new business models and applying advanced technology.
Innovate SA supports businesses through an entire growth process - not just one aspect of their growth. Together with experts from the SA Food Centre, provides industry sectors, networks and companies assistance to implement new technologies and processes, and to commercialise products and services. Innovation Showcase is another program presented by the Innovate SA. It invites SA businesses to visit and learn from organisations that have successfully applied innovation to their processes, practices and products.
Other important SA Food Centre partners, SARDI and TAFE SA, also have specialist staff on hand to help businesses become more innovative in adopting better technologies.
In particular, the Food Innovation and Value Chain program within SARDI provides technical support and research capability in food processing to the South Australian food industry.
Food Technologists also on hand to assist businesses identify issues and find solutions in the areas of new product development, process improvement, packaging, trouble shooting and technical issues.
